In July 2017, Smokey set out to form a band doing what he does best, playing the blues and entertaining the people. After meeting Adrian Peregrine (guitar) Sam Collins (bass) and with he’s good pal Pete Nichols on drums, he knew he’d found the right men for the job.
They then invited the top musicians around to play with the band as special guests. Smokey’s King Shufflers first show Plymouth legend Paul Bomber Harris played Hammond organ, which was a truly unforgettable night, and a perfect debut for the band.
Since then the boys have travelled all around Devon and Cornwall with a huge variety of special guests, taking there Chicago blues show with them.
