The Tyne Bar has been one of Newcastle's favourite independent pubs and live music venues since it opened its doors for the first time way back in November 1994.
More than a quarter of a century later, the Ouseburn landscape has changed beyond recognition, but one constant is The Tyne Bar which just keeps getting better and better and holds a special place in the hearts of music and beer lovers in Newcastle.
With a wonderful drinks selection, free gigs and events, an extensive food menu with vegan options and the famous beer garden beneath the bridge, no visit to the Ouseburn Valley is complete without a visit to The Tyne Bar.
Our menu includes everything from gourmet hot dogs and burgers to delicious sharing plates – with veggie and vegan options, food is served every day 12pm - 9pm.
