We’ve always tried to be at the forefront of trends at The Tyne Bar, without losing our traditional approach to old-fashioned friendly service. We were the first bar in The Ouseburn to serve a wide selection of specialist coffees and we are still the only bar who offers you cash-back on your credit and debit cards. Now we’re also the official ‘Brewery Tap in the City’ for Wylam Brewery, selling their famous Northumberland brewed ales exclusively at The Tyne Bar.

At The Tyne Bar we think it’s very important that our selection of real ales should reflect our location in the heart of the North East. We’ve tried them all and the best without at doubt are the mouth watering ales that the famous Wylam Brewery produce, which is why we’re selling their ales exclusively. Oh yes, we love them that much that there will now be a constant Wylam stream following through the beer pumps of The Tyne Bar.
